    <Paragraph position="0"> The modelling of pragmatic features of natural conversation to help AAC users achieve a range of social conversational goals is considered in relation to the development of an AAC system based on text pre-storage and retrieval. Problems facing designers of AAC systems are highlighted in the hope that insights from NLP may contribute to solutions.</Paragraph>
