    <Paragraph position="0"> This paper has presented a detailed survey of original algorithms for cross-language annotation projection and noise-robust tagger induction, evaluated on four diverse applications. It shows how previous major investments in English annotated corpora and tool development can be effectively leveraged across languages, achieving accurate stand-alone tool development in other languages without comparable human annotation efforts. Collectively this work is the most comprehensive existing exploration of a very promising new paradigma157 for cross-language resource projection.</Paragraph>
