</SectionTitle>
    <Paragraph position="0"> A method for automatically linking Spanish words to a skeletal lexical-conceptual taxonomy has been presented. The system uses WordNet as base for linking to it Spanish words obtained by a set of different methods from a set of bilingual sources.</Paragraph>
    <Paragraph position="1"> A sound statistical base has been tested for scoring the different candidates and a threshold mechanism has been proposed.</Paragraph>
    <Paragraph position="2">  The system clearly outperforms our previous approach that was on the base of building the Spanish WordNet.</Paragraph>
    <Paragraph position="3"> The system is claimed to be general enough to be applied to other languages.</Paragraph>
