</SectionTitle>
    <Paragraph position="0"> We proposed an expansion method for an equivalent sentence set based on syntactic substitution. Our method dynamically acquires paraphrasing rules by using HPA, and generates many sentences by applying the rules to a parse tree recursively. One application of our method is the automatic evaluation of machine translation quality. We are planning to integrate this method into a form of automatic evaluation.</Paragraph>
