7. Conclusions

    <Paragraph position="0"> In this paper, we introduced the concept of temporal information retrieval, and clarified the difference between fresh information retrieval, which is a subset of temporal information retrieval and existing information retrieval. We discussed the necessary conditions for fresh information retrieval, and described an implementation of it in CSE. Also, we proposed an implementation of temporal ranking in CSE.</Paragraph>
    <Paragraph position="1"> The following is a list of our future work: verifying the effectiveness of search engines for fresh information retrieval by long-term experiments, and developing a search engine which realizes complete temporal information retrieval.</Paragraph>
