    <Paragraph position="0"> Using a maximum entropy approach, our Chinese word segmenter achieves state-of-the-art accuracy, when evaluated on all four corpora in the open track of the Second International Chinese Word Segmentation Bakeoff. The use of an external dictionary and additional training corpora of different segmentation standards helps to further improve segmentation accuracy.</Paragraph>
