    <Paragraph position="0"> In this paper we have presented and analyzed a system for recognizing textual entailment focused primarily on the recognition of false entailment, and demonstrated higher performance than achieved by previous approaches on the widely-used PASCAL RTE test set. Our system achieves state-of-the-art performance despite not exploiting a wide array of sources of knowledge used by other high-performance systems; we submit that the performance of our system demonstrates the unexploited potential in features designed specifically for the recognition of false entailment.</Paragraph>
