5 Conclusion

    <Paragraph position="0"> As discussed above, the supervised WSD method shows a low performance because of its dependency on the size of the training data. This reveals its weakness in knowledge acquisition bottleneck.</Paragraph>
    <Paragraph position="1"> EP-based unsupervised method has overcame this weakness. It requires no manually tagged corpus to achieve a satisfactory performance on WSD. Experimental results show that EP-based method is a promising solution to the large-scale WSD task. In future work, we will examine the effectiveness of EP-based method in other WSD techniques.</Paragraph>
