To represent the combination of fragments, we introduce the representation called matching expression. To select the best translation, we define the score of translation based on the score of the matching expression.</Paragraph> <Paragraph position="1"> This framework can be applied to not only the translation between word-dependency trees but also the translation between other data structures.
