    <Paragraph position="0"> We have presented constraint projection, a new operation for efficient disjunctive unification. The important feature of CP is that it returns constraints only on the specified variables. CP can be considered not only as a disjunctive unification method but also as a logical inference system. Therefore, it is expected to play an important role in synthesizing linguistic analyses such as parsing and semantic analysis, and linguistic and non-linguistic inferences.</Paragraph>
