    <Paragraph position="0"> Arabic morphology, though considerably more difficult than the morphology found in the commonly studied European languages, is fully susceptible to finitc-state analysis techniques, either in an enhanced two-level morphology or in the mathematically equiwdent but much more cornputationally efficient Xerox finite-state format. We hope to extend our tinite-state techniques to cover Ilebrew and &lt;)ther languages with exotic morphology.</Paragraph>
