<Paragraph position="0"> We have presented an implemented scheme which significantly reduces the perplexity of the speech recognition task in cases where the perplexity arises from allowing semantically irrelevant grammatical constructions. This method is applicable where there is a modest collection of relevant sample sentences to support building the restrictions by example. This method is applicable only in certain classes of speech, but in those cases it can automate the otherwise quite tedious task of manually marking semantic restrictions for a grammar.</Paragraph>
