    <Paragraph position="0"> The originality of our work lies in the use of powerful linguistic tools that can be adapted to a large variety of situations and that allow easy, fast and cheap renewal of the stock of exercises (with the aim of changing levels of difficulty or testing skills in technical languages).</Paragraph>
    <Paragraph position="1"> Our experiments, are intended to show that local Grammars (FSTs) constitute a powerful tool for sconng exercises which have a wide range of valid responses.</Paragraph>
